1) Gone Girl
In the last week of March I finished the novel Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, This particular novel took me such a long time to get into but when I did I was hooked!! It was written so well, so well in fact that I am writing a review for it on my second blog (The Book Nooks) which will be out within the next week. So if you would like to know my view on that particular novel you will have to keep an eye out for the review! (I'll leave a link on my Facebook page when its completed if you're interested!)
2) Lush 'Montalbano' Solid Shampoo
After months of debating on whether or not I should try solid shampoos I caved in and got one. After having used it for the last month i don't think I could go back to a normal shampoo. Its made my hair feel healthier and smell really good, it also lasts a really long time and for those who don't like washing your hair everyday, solid shampoos's are perfect for that. They leave your hair looking fresh (not oily) for up to three days. This doesn't apply to everyone though but if you do have issues with oily hair, you should definitely give solid shampoo a try, especially from Lush. The particular shampoo has lemon oil, olives and rosemary as some of the ingredients and all of the rest of the ingredients are all natural and they don't have any harmful soaps or chemicals. 3) Lush 'Jungle' Conditioner.
Again I have also been using Lush 'Jungle' Solid conditioner. Its made to make your hair less tangled and the shop assistant said that it also helps reduce hair loss. I find that it doesn't make your hair feel soft while you are bathing but once your hair is dry your hair is extremely soft and again, feels healthy. I find that using a blow dryer to dry your hair improves results. This particular conditioner smells 'earthy'. Its made using organic produce like Avocado's, Banana's and Figs. Link to conditioner: https://www.lush.com.au/shop/product/product/path/147_186/id/1195/Hair-Conditioners-Jungle-Conditioner
All the ingredients for the conditioner and shampoo are good for the environment and are made without packaging.
4) "Love Me Like You Do" by Ellie Goulding.

4) "Love Me Like You Do" by Ellie Goulding.
One of the many songs that I have not been able to stop listening to for the last month is "Love Me Like You Do" by Ellie Goulding. It is such a catchy song and Ellie Gouldings' voice is absolutely magical.
5) "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran
5) "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran has always been an amazing singer and performer, which is why "Thinking Out Loud" is no surprise when it comes to my monthly favourites. Its a beautiful song and has some of my favourite lyrics ever written into a song.
"When my hair's all but gone and my memory fades
And the crowds don't remember my name
When my hands don't play the strings the same way
I know you will still love me the same
'Cause honey your soul could never grow old, it's evergreen"
"When my hair's all but gone and my memory fades
And the crowds don't remember my name
When my hands don't play the strings the same way
I know you will still love me the same
'Cause honey your soul could never grow old, it's evergreen"
The last line especially appeals to me. The idea of someone still seeing the person they first fell in love with when they grow old together is so cute and it makes my hopeless romantic heart sore with emotion!
6) Pretty Little Liars.
Now this has made the list because I started it at the end of last month and I have not been able to stop watching it. Its so bad its good. I began watching it with my housemate and it took me about 5 or 6 episodes to really start enjoying it. The acting is very over the top and the show in general is so dramatic but it has gotten to be so addicting even though its so dramatic. I am completely hooked and I am slightly disappointing in myself for liking this show so much. Which is entirely the reason why Pretty Little Liars makes this months favourites.
7) Home made lasagna
My housemate has made possibly the greatest home made lasagna I have ever had (sorry Mum)
Completely Vegetarian and completely delicious.
8) Male Trackpants (Joggers)
Now when i say joggers, I don't mean running shoes, I mean track pants that come in at the ankle as a cuff. The reason I say male joggers is because they are so much more comfortable and roomy. I basically live in my Joggers when I am not working. Best thing about them though is that they are only 15 dollars at Kmart so I am set for the winter.
9) The Wolf Among Us - Telltale Games
The Wolf Among Us is an episodic interactive drama graphic adventure video game based on Bill Willingham's Fables comic book series. Like all of the other Telltale games, this game leaves you on the edge of your chair waiting for the next chapter to be released so you can play on with the twisted plot. The game provides a range of great characters and forces you to make choices which change the way the game progresses. Its an interesting spin on childhood fables that allows you to see a possible turnout on after their "happily ever after"
10) Eagle and Shark
Lily (Loren Horsley), a socially awkward fast-food waitress, meets Jarrod (Jemaine Clement), an equally oddball video-game clerk, at a costume party. She flips over him, even though he is not exactly the nicest guy around, and the pair begin a strange relationship. Gearing up for his ultimate revenge against a high-school bully, Jarrod dumps Lily, but she digs her heels in and refuses to give up the fight.
If you like Flight of The Concords, you'll like this film.
And that's all I have for March's Monthly favourites. Feel free to comment, share and like!
See you next month with another monthly favourites! xx
